Paint Restorer by Grigo Systems is a self leveling protective coating which not only has extremely high glossiness, hardness, and corrosion resistance, but also has strong paint self-cleaning properties, reducing dust adhesion on the paint surface and can cover sun lines and scratches in the car's clear coat. It can last up to 5 years in one application, especially suitable for refurbishing old car paint but also suitable for protection of new car paint.
APLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:
Surface Preparation and Cleaning:
Proper cleaning is essential for optimal results. Begin by washing the surface where the product will be applied using water or a detailing spray. For enhanced results, consider wiping the area with a Wax and Grease Remover. You can also use a Clay Bar for additional preparation. Ensure the surface is completely dry before proceeding with the application.
Applying the Product:
- Shake the bottle thoroughly with the cap secured.
- Replace the original cap with the clear nozzle provided in the package.
- Dispense the product onto a folded shop towel or a microfiber applicator. Make sure to use enough product to maintain a consistent wet edge throughout the panel. Keep the bottle nearby to reapply if the towel begins to dry.
- Start at the upper corner of the panel, allowing any excess product to flow downward naturally.
- Using light pressure, hold the towel flat and glide it across the surface from edge to edge, overlapping slightly with each stroke. Spread the product evenly across the panel.
- If you miss a spot within the first 2–3 minutes, gently pass through the area again to ensure even coverage. Avoid overworking any section.
- Be mindful of the 2–3 minute working window. Do not revisit areas beyond this time frame.
Important: If a mistake occurs during application, you can remove the coating more easily within the first 15 minutes. Use Wax and Grease Remover to scrub the area during this time. If the coating has cured, removal will require wet sanding, heavy cutting with a rotary tool, or applying a strong solvent. This product is designed to provide durable, long-lasting protection.
Curing and Maintenance:
Allow the coating to cure for 24 hours. During this period, avoid touching the surface or exposing it to water. Once fully cured, the coating will provide durable protection. You can hand wash the vehicle 48 hours after application. Avoid automatic car wash with brushes specifically after application.
